Juneteenth Freedom Celebration

In partnership with the Tigard-Tualatin School District, Tigard celebrates our third annual Juneteenth Celebration! All are welcome to join our celebration—we will be there rain or shine!

Enjoy a free, delicious meal from Eleni’s Kitchen and Ezell’s Famous Chicken, with cupcakes from KC’s Sweets & Treats.

Dance to an upbeat Afrobeat-inflected DJ set from DJ Solo and watch a rare, intimate performance from Grammy-nominated local reggae superstar Aaron Nigel Smith.

Entertainment also includes performances by local dance groups, remarks from local officials, a Black Leaders Poster Gallery, Tigard Public Library providing activities and free books, and lawn games for kids of all ages.
